Ed Flenner, Senior Vice President of MGA, has has 30 years of experience in Washington, DC commercial real estate. Early on, Ed was a Director at Studley for 5 years and then a Senior Director at The Charles E. Smith Companies (CES). While at CES he began his special focus of working with non-profit organizations including developing, implementing and completing strategies for ensuring they have the most efficient office facilities with the best economic terms achievable. While at CES, Ed developed the forerunner of the contemporary platform for the state of the art team approach for providing non-profit organizations with complete resources for their acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate by integrating in house construction management with brokerage services for the increased efficiency in the process of acquiring commercial space and elimination of risk in the process of acquiring their commercial space. He has significant experience in tenant representation for helping non-profit organizations in securing leased space and the purchasing and selling of commercial buildings for ownership and occupancy. Ed is committed to excellence and the highest level of integrity in representing non-profit organizations.

Prior to joining MGA, Ed spent 14 years at The Meyer Group as a Senior Vice President continuing his focus of representing non-profit organizations and embassies in the buying, selling and leasing of commercial property in DC. In addition, he has developed a special and unique expertise in advising 501 © 3 organizations in buying commercial buildings utilizing District of Columbia Industrial Revenue (Low Interest Rate) Bonds (aka Tax Free Bonds). This special expertise is part of Ed’s continued commitment to helping non-profit organizations save significant money on their occupancy costs.

Ed is a graduate of The University of Maryland.
