Nicholas Hunter | Markets Director

Nicholas Hunter, Markets Director, brings 15 years of experience in leasing and development to MGA. He works with clients to fully understand their mission, business model and goals, and then aids clients in devising a real estate strategy that yields success. With his knowledge of the local markets, Nicholas is able to apply strong analytical and negotiating skills to the representation of his clients' interests.  His clients are guided through this process seamlessly while leveraging MGA’s platform and resources.  Nicholas has been instrumental in helping to develop and implement sophisticated real estate strategies to reduce costs and mitigate risk.

Prior to MGA, Nicholas served as Vice President for POUNDS, a commercial development and construction firm, where he directed all business development and marketing efforts, in addition to overall project oversight. Prior to POUNDS, he was a Senior Associate in JLL’s Tenant Representation division. He came to JLL via the merger with the Staubach Company, where he was instrumental in the creation of the Washington, DC office’s research department. He started his career in commercial real estate at CBRE, as a Research Analyst.

Nicholas graduated from the University of Virginia, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs. Nicholas is also active in the University of Virginia’s alumni affairs community.

He serves as a volunteer for Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind and Horton’s Kids.
